Maria Cristina Bonanno chose the name of the Ventodiscirocco for her handicraft business of making ceramics and lava stone tables, a material widely used in the province of Catania, where she was born and currently resides. In every object, no matter how large or small, her brush writes a lived story, a life experience. Among these experiences is the encounter with plants including the Prickly Pear, the most iconic cactus in southern Italy. Maria Cristina will be present at the Festa del Cactus where she will also exposes her wonderful lava stone tables.
